Which giant would you prefer to work for: Google or Facebook?
It might be a question of personal preference. You can’t help but love one company’s work more than another, which leads to desire to work for them. Aside from that, you could use some objective measurements in choosing between the two.

Google Office

About Google: (as if you needed this)
Google Inc. is an American public corporation specializing in Internet search. It also generates profits from advertising bought on its similarly free-to-user e-mail, online mapping, office productivity, social networking and video-sharing services. Advert-free versions are available via paid subscription. Google has more recently developed an open source web browser and a mobile phone operating system. Its headquarters, often referred to as the Googleplex, is located in Mountain View, California. As of March 31, 2009 the company had 19,786 full-time employees. It runs thousands of servers across the world, processing millions of search requests each day and about one petabyte of user-generated data each hour.

Facebook Office
About Facebook:
Facebook, Inc. is a company that operates and privately owns social networking website, Facebook. Users can add friends and send them messages, and update their personal profiles to notify friends about themselves. Additionally, users can join networks organized by city, workplace, school, and region. The website’s name stems from the colloquial name of books given at the start of the academic year by university administrations with the intention of helping students to get to know each other better.
Mark Zuckerberg founded Facebook with his college roommates and fellow computer science students Eduardo Saverin, Dustin Moskovitz and Chris Hughes while he was a student at Harvard University. The website’s membership was initially limited to Harvard students, but was expanded to other colleges in the Boston area, the Ivy League, and Stanford University. It later expanded further to include any university student, then high school students, and, finally, to anyone aged 13 and over. The website currently has more than 350 million active users worldwide.

So what is your choice? I already made up my mind but I won’t tell you mine

Google hands-down!
i love both the offices but much i like facebook office than google bcoz in google it seems to b toooo dignified n calm n v hav pretend 2 b more descent than in facebook office.facebook office is too comfortable n v need not give up ourselves right.
I like working for H*m*n* were I have to share my cubby with my bosses coffee machine…no wait that’s my coffee machine. —–> Can’t wait to retire.
oh! wtf! anyone know of the country of sweden? anyone? well if you look at the google office you will notice that it has alot of typical swedish things, the color on the wall looks suspiciously like “falu”redcolour, the typical swedish cow, the floor looks like our archipelago, we have alot of borks, and the wallpaper with the houses? just like gamla stan in stockholm…
Google to go !!.. I would like to enjoy the aquarium and playing ping pong while my friend having their lunch.. lolz…
Um, I think you should definitely clarify that these photos are of the Google New York office- NOT the Googleplex in Mountain View, CA. Big difference.
love the rocking chairs from facebook and the slide from google
Facebook wins! Its creative and works all together, google seems way too random
I like both of them
I’m thinking BOTH of them don’t have anybody I could see much past the age of thirty. Both must be awful places for older people to work at.
First I was like Google is soo much cooler, colorful, and creative…then I saw some people skateboarding in the Facebook offices and I go h*ll no!..that is just way too cool…soo i choose FACEBOOK!!!
google’s office looks more fun, facebook looks like a decorated warehouse..
I would like to work for both…am trying to figure out where to reply!
Looks like fun workingspaces…
I’ve only been to the Google Zürich office (the one with the slide) and I was impressed. I wish I had such a work environment.
facebook has a younger look that’s the biggest difference i can see. i think both are awesome
Swear by Google. H*ll, I’m not even on facebook. It just doesn’t work for me.
GOOGLE of course!!!classy and fun and comfy!!!
This is what happens when you give 19-year old geeks too much money. Mies is turning in his grave.
Personally, I can not find their office aps really terrible … I think it tries to play it cool but in the end, it is rather Decorating with paper mache … Apart from the blow of boat that divan which is really not bad and original, the rest bah … the mural two balls (it would do well in a queue of what Disney) the ping pong well highlighted on the table for the picture (while you eat it, is the class …), the bath should the aquarium. It is played it a little advertising agency start-ups or young and trendy (normal at the same time) but in the end I found the result not terrible … It is a personal opinion, I understand that others like.

They both are nice
mean to say no one chase them
Thanks for sharing this with us!
Love Google office but Facebook wins
Is it office……..?

This has been said before but GOOGLE HAS A SLIDE OMG. A SHINY SWIRLY WONDERFUL SLIDE. AND I HAVE HEARD GREAT THINGS ABOUT THEIR FOOD.
Facebook can go d** in a fire.
The FB offices look like an Ikea store.
Anyway, I wouldn’t want to work for either of them.
Facebook is a cr*p! waste of time. Google is productive
Google looks more clean lol
Facebook, h*llz yeah.
Google is obviously more well funded so clearly their offices would look better.
Google, no question. That office seems way more fun.
I love seeing unorthodox work spaces.
Another example is: http://www.wired.com/culture/design/multimedia/2007/06/gallery_nemo_office?slide=4&slideView=6
Video game studio designed in steampunk/nautilus theme, and even the CEO dresses up.
I think people would be more enthusiastic about work with environments like these.
I love Googs office and I did not find anything different in Facebook’s office. As I am also in a creative and Innovations, I will prefer Googs’s office. Place to relax and have fun… and I am sure as the management have give such importance for the look to relax the minds of its people … will matter also in the behaviors too and also in the recruits…….. Thanks
Google has a loopy stainless steel slide. Enough said!
Google has more HAPPIES!
Google. But Facebook is more luxurious.
Google offcourse. Thire place was awsome

Facebooks place looks kind of dark, drab and lonely. Google, nice and bright. Googles the spot.
Google just screams out *trying too hard*
**We’re trying to look cool by having slides and ‘arty’ offices with boats in them** – I mean seriously… might as well go the full nine yards and put your servers in Disney Land!!
GOOGLE HAS A SLIDE. A SLIDE! I choose Google
My girlfriend, ruby and I love the office design of google!
Facebook looks like a slapped-together junkyard…which is all Facebook is, so I guess it fits…
Google offices are really ugly
They both looks cool places to work, but I choose Google (:
Google, ofcourse.
