Someone else is putting high economy engines (turbo-bio-diesels) and battery tech in skins much like these, and they are going to get the big bucks for their work just as soon as the gas prices rise, be it by tax, carbon tax, OPEC greed, Saudi hunger for ultra-luxury, or just plain shortage of product as the wells go dry and the Chinese and Indians demand a share of the existing supply! Show us styles like this, but remember, a new tech age has been born, and it is driven by the facts of current pocketbook life! We will soon do all inter-city travel on bullet trains, and intercontinental travel will go to the ocean liners, planes will be restricted for the military only, and fuel will get very costly! Make my beautiful land cruiser a practical reality by including high economy of operation with exceptional beauty!

WTF is the solstice doing on there? And the Alfa Romeo? DBS wins every day, and wins for the last ten years and the next ten years. No one makes cars like Aston Martin. The Maserati does look good though.
Although the solstice hasn’t won any gp or anything you have to admit it’s nice to see american engineers can still hang with the europeans. Design wise I think it deserves to be on the list as much as the aston. It’s not about speed or ability, its about looks.

The Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione deserves to be on that list for its heritage before Maserati, Ferrari, or Lamborghini existed Alfa were winning grand prix races and whole championships so alfa more than deserves its place. the soltice does not.
Any new Lambo is cooler looking than any of those 5!
