The only piece of art you explained in your Banksy page was the the one of the girl with balloons floating over the wall around the west bank. Its not that the Palestinians believe life is better on the other side, Israel, it represents how badly they want to escape the illegal occupation of the west bank. Israel has literally enclosed the west bank off from contact, setting up checkpoints at a few exits where the Palestinian people are harassed before being let out to move freely through their country. Life would be better for them is this wall is torn down. When has there ever been a lawful confining wall constructed in history. Maybe in ancient times a wall was useful to keep invaders out ie the great wall of china, but never should their be a wall keeping people in. The Berlin wall should have taught the world a valuable lesson. Since the wall is a tool of a previously persecuted people, the world turns a blind eye.
